BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
4 to 5 pieces bread
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. onions
1 c. mushrooms
1 c. ham, bacon or spam
2 c. grated Swiss cheese
4 beaten eggs
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. garlic salt or powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard or yellow mustard
1 1/2 c. milk

Butter bread and lay buttered side down in 9 x 13 buttered cake pan, so bread covers bottom of pan and set aside. Saute onion, mushrooms, and your choice of meat for 5 minutes in 2 tablespoons butter. Spread over bread and then spread Swiss cheese over that, set aside. Blend eggs, flour, garlic salt, salt, mustard, and milk. Pour over Swiss cheese and refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes or until puffy brown on top.
