BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef (salt to taste)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cut peeled clove of garlic
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. minced onion
1/4 c. water
1 can chicken soup (undiluted)
2 cans mushrooms (drained and chopped)
1 c. sour cream

Melt butter in dutch oven, lightly brown onions and garlic. Remove onions and garlic, butter and reserve. Place meat in dutch oven. Brown and drain well. Remove meat, add water, stir to dissolve brown particles on bottom. Return onions, butter and meat. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Uncover add soup, mushrooms, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat until mixture is kinda thick. About 45 minutes to 1 hour. Just before serving add sour cream. Serve over hot rice.
