CALICO BAKED BEANS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 tbsp. butter
1 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. ketchup
1/4 c. barbecue sauce
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. molasses
3/4 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
1 (16 oz.) can lima beans, drained
1 (28 oz.) can pork and beans

In a large skillet brown beef and onion in butter. Drain well. Place in a large casserole with bacon. In a medium bowl combine sugar, brown sugar, ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard, molasses, chili powder, salt and pepper. Mix well. Add kidney beans, lima beans and pork and beans to casserole.

Pour sugar mixture over top. Blend well. Cover casserole and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Uncover casserole and bake an additional 15 minutes. This casserole can be held, covered, in a low oven for one hour.
