MEMAW'S ICING (FOR CHOCOLATE CAKE) | |
2 egg whites 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 c. light corn syrup Beat egg whites and salt in a small bowl until foamy. Gradually add sugar, beating until soft peaks form. Microwave corn syrup 2 minutes or until boiling. Slowly pour thin stream over egg white, beating until stiff and glossy. Beat in vanilla. Frost cake. |
