APPLE (OR RHUBARB) SOUR CREAM
PIE
 
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix with enough sliced apples for a 9 inch pie. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 325 and bake 30 minutes.

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon (or less, according to taste)
Dash salt

Sprinkle over pie and bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes longer.
