ORANGE NUT SQUARES
SQUARES:

2 c. old fashioned rolled oats
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts
1/4 c. orange marmalade

ICING:

1/2 c. confectioners' sugar, sifted
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tbsp. milk

For squares, preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. Stir in butter until well blended. Reserving 1 cup of oats mixture, press remaining oats mixture into bottom of a greased 8x11 inch baking pan. In a medium bowl, stir together reserved oats mixture and next 3 ingredients. Spread raisin mixture evenly over oats mixture in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until light brown. While still warm, cut into 1 inch squares.

For icing, stir all ingredients together in a small bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm squares; cool completely in pan. Store in an airtight container.

Makes about 4 dozen squares.
