WATERGATE CAKE 
1 box yellow or white cake mix
2 (3 oz.) boxes instant pistachio pudding
3 eggs
1 c. oil
1/2 c. pecans
1 c. ginger ale
1 env. Dream Whip
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed

Combine cake mix with 1 of the packages of pudding mix, eggs, oil, nuts and ginger ale. Beat for 4 minutes at medium speed with electric mixer. Turn into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. Let cool.

Meanwhile, combine Dream Whip with remaining pudding mix and milk. Beat for 1 minute. Let stand 3 to 4 minutes. Fold in thawed Cool Whip. Spread on cake. Keep cake refrigerated.
