OATMEAL PANCAKES 
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. canned applesauce
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. unsifted flour (stir)
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

In medium bowl stir together oats, buttermilk and applesauce. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir in eggs. Thoroughly stir together the remaining ingredients; add to oat mixture and stir until moistened.
