MINNESOTA MINCEMEAT 
3 lb. green tomatoes
3 lb. apples
2 lb. raisins
7 1/2 c. sugar (half brown and half white)
2 tbsp. salt
1 c. ground suet
1 c. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. cloves
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. nutmeg
1 orange, grind up with rind
1 lemon, grind up with rind

Grind green tomatoes; drain. Place in kettle. Pour boiling water over to scald; drain. Do that twice more. Add apples, tomatoes, raisins, sugar, salt, suet, and cook until clear. Add remaining ingredients and cook until thick. Process for 5 minutes in canner.
