KAHLUA 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
1/4 c. instant Folger's coffee
2 oz. pure vanilla
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/5th vodka

Dissolve coffee in 1/2 cup of boiling water separately. Dissolve sugar in remaining water, add syrup, then add coffee mixture and let stand until cool. Add vanilla to vodka, then add cooled mixture. Shake and pour in to dark bottle and let stand 2 weeks.
