NANCY'S DILLY BREAD 
1 pkg. yeast
1/4 c. water
1 c. cottage cheese
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. instant onion
1 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 unbeaten egg
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. dill seed
2 1/2 c. flour

Mix first 10 ingredients together and combine with flour (a mixer may be used) or knead well with oiled hands. Cover and let double in size. Knead down and place in loaf pan, let rise until light. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.

I use flat bottom round 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Fun to serve with a casserole too.
