2 c. White Lily meal (self-rising)
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
Crisco oil
buttermilk

Mix all the ingredients together very good; pour into greased baking pan. Put Crisco on top, if desired. Have oven hot, 450°F, when you put your bread in it. Cook until brown on bottom and top.
