TESS'S PRETZEL SALAD | |
2 1/2 c. coarsely crushed pretzels 3 tbsp. powdered sugar 3/4 c. melted butter Mix and bake in 9 x 13 inch glass pan for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Beat 8 ounce cream cheese. Add 1 beaten egg and 1 cup powdered sugar. Beat well. Fold in 9 ounce Cool Whip and 4 teaspoons lemon juice. Spread over crust and chill. Take 1 (6 ounce) package strawberry Jello and 2 cups hot water. Dissolve Jello. Add 2 (10 ounce) package of frozen strawberries when thickened pour over the other layers. Chill. Serve with Cool Whip or spread Cool Whip over entire salad. |
