1 (8 oz.) box instant wild rice 3 slices fully cooked ham, chopped 6 oz. cooked and deveined salad shrimp 2/3 c. frozen peas 1 egg 1 med. onion, chopped 2 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. hot mustard 1/2 tsp. soy sauce Prepare rice according to box instructions. In large frying pan melt butter with soy and Worcestershire sauce. Stir in onions, ham and shrimp until slightly fried. Add egg, peas. Immediately stir in prepared rice and hot mustard. Continue to stir until thoroughly heated. Serve immediately. |
