THE BEST STRAWBERRY PIE | |
1 c. sugar 1/4 c. cornstarch 1 1/2 c. water 1 pkg. strawberry gelatin, 3 oz. size 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 qt. strawberries Mix together cornstarch, sugar, and gelatin; add water and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for five minutes, stirring constantly. Cool. Gently fold in freshly cleaned strawberries. Pour into baked nine inch pie shell or graham cracker shell. Put in refrigerator to set. Serves 8. Serve with whipped cream. |
