RUNZA'S 
4 1/2-5 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 pkgs. yeast
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs, room temperature

Measure 1 3/4 cups flour into a large bowl. Stir in sugar, salt and yeast. Set aside. Heat milk, water and shortening until warm. Pour into flour mixture. Add eggs and beat on low for 1/2 minute. Continue beating high for 3 minutes. Stir in remaining flour. Dough should be soft and sticky. Roll dough and cut into 6 inch squares.

FILLING:

1 lb. hamburger
1 onion, chopped
2 c. cabbage, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Place meat mixture in square. Pull edges of dough together and pinch to seal pocket. Put on greased cookie sheet. Cover with cloth. Let it rise for 10 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Make the filling German style, Italian style use your imagination.
