APPLE DRESSING 
6 c. tart cooking apples
1 c. currants or raisins
2 tbsp. lemon juice

Pare and slice apples. Combine them with the currants or raisins (you may steam the currants or raisins in a tablespoon of water in the top of a double boiler 15 minutes before combining them with the apples). Then add lemon juice. Mix well.
