PORK PIE 
Pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie
1 1/2 lbs. very lean ground pork or mixture of pork and beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1/2 c. hot water
1/4 tsp. crushed celery seeds
1 lg. potato, grated
Ground cloves or sage to taste
1 sm. bay leaf

Prepare pie crust. Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Cook, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Cool; pour into pie shell. Place top cover over meat. Seal; prick with fork. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes until crust is brown.
