BETTY'S PINEAPPLE CREAM CHEESE
SALAD OR DESSERT
 
1 can crushed pineapple
3/4 c. sugar

Cook above for 5 minutes. Dissolve 1 1/2 package Knox gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water. Add to pineapple mixture and cool. Add 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (the cream cheese mixes better if pineapple mixture is not completely cold). Add an 8 ounce tub of Cool Whip when the mixture is cold. Pour into 9 x 13 inch pan.
