BASIC ITALIAN SAUCE 
2 (29 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (12 oz.) cans tomato paste
8 c. water
4 cloves garlic
2 tsp. black pepper
3 tbsp. parsley
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 tbsp. sweet basil

Combine all ingredients and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours for thicker sauce. Meat, meatballs, mushrooms, onions, etc. can be added. Great for spaghetti, lasagna or any dish calling for a tomato sauce. This recipe can be cut in 1/2 easily and it can be frozen.
