1 pkg. white cake mix
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cherry flavored jello
2 c. boiling water
1 (5 1/4 oz.) pkg. Dream Whip
1 can prepared cherry pie filling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to directions. Bake in a 13x9x2 inch pan. A few minutes before cake is done, dissolve jello in boiling water. Remove cake from oven when done.

Take a fork and pierce through in several places to bottom of cake. Pour hot jello over the hot cake. Chill at least 2 hours. Prepare whipped topping according to package directions. Spread over top of cake. Top with cherry pie filling.
