GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE | |
1 (1 lb.) can French style green beans 1 (3 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup 1/2 c. milk 1/4 tsp. basil or dill (dried) 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated 3 slices partially cooked bacon Put alternate layers of drained beans and onions in a casserole. Mix soup, milk and basil or dried dill. Pour over beans and onions. Sprinkle cheese over top. Arrange 1 inch pieces of bacon on top of cheese. Bake in moderate oven at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes. |
