10 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Apple slices (sliced thick)

Mix and pour into greased 8"x8" pan. Top with thick slices of apples. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon, sugar and nuts. (Nuts are optional.) Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. NOTE: Recipe may be doubled for 13"x9" pan, however, allow extra time for baking.
