TURKEY-APPLE SALAD 
1 c. cooked turkey strips
1 apple, unpeeled and diced
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. ground ginger
Dash of pepper
2 c. torn lettuce leaves
2 tbsp. slivered almonds, toasted (optional)

Combine turkey and apple in a bowl. Combine oil and next 5 ingredients in a jar; cover tightly and shake vigorously. Pour over turkey and apples, tossing to coat well. Cover and refrigerate just before serving, toss mixture with lettuce and sprinkle with almonds. 2 servings.
