3 qt. popped corn
2/3 c. peanuts
2/3 c. pecans
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
Buttered wax paper

Combine corn, peanuts, and pecans in large container. Mix Karo, salt, vanilla, butter and sugar; boil until candy thermometer reaches "hard crack" stage. Immediately pour Karo mixture over popcorn mixture. Stir rapidly, making certain all corn and nuts are coated. Pour mixture onto buttered wax paper. Cool and break into individual pieces.
