GREEN BEANS FROM DORIS' KITCHEN 
1 (10 oz.) pkg. green beans
2 strips of bacon, fried crisp
4 oz. can of mushrooms
1 tsp. chopped pimento
1/4 tsp. minced garlic
1/8 c. finely chopped onion
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water

Fry bacon, drain all but 1 tablespoon. Saute onion and garlic until tender. Add the beans and water and salt. Cook until tender. Add pepper and pimento. Serve hot.
