ALMOND ROCA COOKIE BAR 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 c. minus 2 tbsp. flour

Cream together butter and sugars. Add rest of ingredients. Mix thoroughly and spread on large cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

Melt 10 oz. Hershey bar over double boiler or microwave. Spread over warm cookie and then add (sprinkle) slivered almonds. Cut into bars when cooled. Makes 3 to 4 dozen.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
