NORWEGIAN TOAST 
1 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. diary sour cream
3 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cardamom
1 tsp. mace

Mix together and form two long loaves on a greased cookie sheet. Dough will be very sticky and soft.

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Slice while still hot and place slices on a cookie sheet. Toast at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
