APPLE CRISP 
5 c. sliced, pared tart apples
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. enriched flour
3/4 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. butter

Arrange apples in buttered 9 inch pie plate. Combine brown sugar, flour, oats, and cinnamon; cut in butter until crumbly. Press mixture over apples. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 45-50 minutes or until top is golden brown.
