MEAT PIE ROMA | |
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. ground beef (or 1 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. Italian sausage) 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 3/4 c. water 1 pkg. spaghetti mix 1 (8 oz.) can biscuits Parmesan cheese 1 (16 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese (shredded) Brown meat and drain. Stir in package of spaghetti mix, tomato paste and water. Simmer 10 minutes. Line a greased pyrex baking dish with biscuits, pressed together to seal. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over biscuits. Layer half meat mixture, half Mozzarella cheese, remaining meat, and top with Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes to melt the cheese. Serves 8. |
