1 - 2 layer size box of yellow cake mix
1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. sugar
1 pkg. vanilla pudding (prepared according to directions)
1 to 2 c. Cool Whip
Flaked coconut

Mix and bake cake in 13 x 9 inch pan according to package. Bring undrained pineapple and sugar to boil; then let cool. When cake is cool, poke holes in it with a fork and pour pineapple mixture over it. Spread prepared pudding over the top of the pineapple. Refrigerate. Shortly before serving, cover cake with Cool Whip and sprinkle coconut.
