MOM'S GREEN BEANS 
2 qts. green beans (garden fresh)
2 tbsp. bacon grease
1 tbsp. salt

Cook green beans on top of stove in water, covering beans 1 inch, for 2 hours. When water cooks down until it is almost dry, add bacon grease and salt. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, letting grease cook into beans. Place in bowl and serve.

This is for newlyweds who need to keep the spouse happy with mom's green beans.
