TUNA PATTIES 
1/3 c. Grape Nuts
1/4 c. milk
3/4 c. chopped onion
3 tbsp. shortening
1 can tuna, drained
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. lemon juice

Combine cereal and milk in bowl; set aside. Saute onion in 1 tablespoon shortening in skillet. Add onion, tuna, egg, salt, pepper and lemon juice to cereal mixture; mix well. Shape into small patties. Brown in remaining 2 tablespoons shortening in skillet. Yield: 4 servings.
