OLGA JONES' NEVER FAIL DILLS 
1/4 c. salt
1 c. vinegar
3 c. water

This is enough for 2 quarts of pickles, packed in jars with 2 or 3 bunches or heads of dill to each jar. A clove of garlic and 1 teaspoon mixed spices to each jar is optional. Pour vinegar, water and salt over the pickles, boiling hot, and seal.
