CHOCOLATE PEANUT CAKE
1 2/3 c. cake flour
1 3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. smooth peanut butter
3 tbsp. butter at room temp.
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. roasted peanuts, chopped
7 oz. milk-chocolate candy bar, chopped

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour a 13x9" baking pan. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. With an electric mixer set at low speed, beat peanut butter and butter until smooth. Beat in sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in flour mixture, alternating with milk, until just smooth. Stir in half the peanuts. Pour into pan. Bake until a toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean, 25 to 30 minutes. Immediately sprinkle candy bar on the hot cake. Let stand 1 minute. Spread over cake. Sprinkle with remaining peanuts. Cool before cutting.
