OLD-FASHIONED CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Chocolate Icing

Chocolate Icing:

1/2 c. cocoa
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream eggs and sugar. Add oil; mix well. Add flour and buttermilk. Add extract. Pour into greased and floured pan.

Bake at 375°F for 30 to 40 minutes (do not remove cake from pan). Cut into squares. Pour icing immediately over cake.

For Icing: Combine cocoa, sugar and butter in saucepan. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add vanilla.
