CHERRY COBBLER 
1 can or jar cherry pie filling
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk

Preheat oven at 400 degrees.

Place pie filling mixed with almond extract into ungreased casserole, 8x8 pan will do.

Measure dry ingredients and mix together. Cut in shortening then add milk. Mix until dough forms a ball. Drop by teaspoonful on pie filing. Bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees until golden brown.
