OVEN BARBEQUED SPARERIBS 
4 lbs. pork spareribs
2/3 c. unsweetened grapefruit juice
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. curry powder
1/8 tsp. ground allspice

Cut spareribs in 2 rib portions, arrange in large open roasting pan in one layer. Roast ribs in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. In 1 quart saucepan over medium heat, heat grapefruit juice and remaining ingredients to boiling, cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. During last 30 minutes of roasting time brush ribs frequently with grapefruit mixture.
