OVEN BARBECUED RIBS 
3 lb. meaty pork ribs
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. catsup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 c. water

Salt and pepper ribs to taste. Place in baking dish and brown in oven that has been preheated to 350 degrees. While ribs are browning in skillet on top of stove, saute onion and celery in butter until lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 10 minutes. When ribs are brown, remove from oven, pour off grease. Pour sauce over ribs. Cover tightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
