1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Mix together. Then add:

1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Mix together. Then add:

4 med. apples
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together and pour into 8-10 inch pan (or 11 - 6 1/2 inch).

TOPPING:

1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix together and put on top of cake before baking. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 55-55 minutes.
