ANGEL BISCUITS 
2 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1/8 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. dry yeast
1 tbsp. warm water
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Sift together dry ingredients and stir in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water and add with buttermilk to flour mixture; mix well. turn out on floured board and knead a little. Roll out 1/4" thick and cut with round cutter. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
