FRENCH BEEF SLICE | |
1 loaf French bread 1 lb. ground chuck 1 onion, chopped 1 can tomato soup 1 can cheddar cheese soup Cut bread in half lengthwise; carefully scoop out the inside, and break into bite size pieces. Combine ground chuck and onion in a large saucepan. Cook until meat is browned. Stir in soups and bread pieces. Spoon meat mixture into bottom half of bread shell and cover with the top half. Wrap loaf in foil, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. To serve, cut into slices. 8-10 servings. |
