BAKED CHEESE & MACARONI 
1 c. cooked elbow macaroni
1 c. grated cheese (Cheddar)
Cheese slices for top
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 c. milk

Cook macaroni, drain and place in 1 quart casserole. Heat milk over medium heat, place cheese in milk and stir until cheese melts. Do not boil! Remove from stove. Stir in egg. Pour over macaroni, stir in dish. Cover and bake for 35 minutes at 300 degrees.

With Ham: 1/2 pound ham in chunks. Brown ham, drain, stir ham into macaroni before cheese. Add cheese sauce and bake for 40-45 minutes.
