MERINGUE FOR PEANUT BUTTER PIE 
3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch

Beat egg whites until stiff, add cream of tartar. Gradually add sugar mixed with cornstarch. Beat until stiff and shiny. Pile on pie and bake until browned at 350 degrees. Cool pie before serving.
