PIZZA APPETIZERS | |
1 lb. sausage 1 c. chopped onions 1 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 1/2 tsp. oregano 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 sm. can tomato paste 1 sm. can tomato sauce 2 cans Pillsbury flaky biscuits 1/2 lb. grated Mozzarella cheese Simmer sausage until half done. Add onion and cook until sausage is done. Drain. Add sharp cheese, Parmesan cheese, oregano, garlic salt, tomato sauce and paste. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Cool. Take biscuits, 1 at a time and separate into 4 layers per biscuit and flatten out into a circle. Place on a cookie sheet. Add sauce and grated Mozzarella cheese. These may be frozen on a sheet pan, then put in plastic bags, if you want to save them. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 minutes. |
