2 cakes yeast
1 c. warm water
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. salt
7 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar

Mix yeast with 1 teaspoon sugar and warm milk; set aside to rise. Heat 1 cup milk and add shortening, salt and sugar. Cool; add 3 cups flour and yeast mix. Add about 4 or more cups flour and mix well. Let rise and knead down. Let rise and put in pans to rise. Bake 20-30 minutes at 375 degrees.
