1 c. cut-up pitted uncooked prunes
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. cooking oil
1 c. chopped nuts

Pour boiling water over prunes, let stand 2 hours. Stir dry ingredients together. Add prunes and rest of ingredients. Blend thoroughly, 1 minute. Beat 2 minutes at medium mixer speed. Pour into very large greased and floured pan. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
