CARAMEL FROSTING 
2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. Crisco
1 tbsp. white Karo
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. Crisco
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar, sifted
4 tbsp. hot milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil first four ingredients to soft ball. Combine other ingredients. Beat until smooth. Pour in hot syrup. Beat until thick and creamy.
