CHICKEN CACCIATORE | |
1 cut up chicken 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 c. olive oil 3 cloves garlic 1 sliced onion 1 sliced green pepper 1 jar bottled spaghetti sauce Salt, to taste 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. oregano Saute garlic first, then saute thinly sliced green pepper, after a few minutes the onion. Saute until limp. Remove from the pan. Dust chicken pieces with flour. Season with a little salt and pepper. Brown on all sides then remove and place onto a baking dish. To your juice, place peppers, onion, sauce and oregano, heat 5 minutes. Pour over your chicken, cook 1 hour at 350 to 375 degrees. |
