1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 (10 oz.) box miniature peanut butter cup candies
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Cream first 4 ingredients. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt, then blend into mixture. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Bake 8-10 minutes. Shape into little balls and put into ungreased miniature muffin pans. Put candy in immediately after baking. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
